DiSc Research Development Grants

A call for proposals

The Digital Scholarship (DiSc) team is pleased to announce the DiSc Research Development Grant scheme, which is now open to research and research development proposals from University of Oxford Researchers.

The scheme exists to support researchers in exploring digital approaches and developing digital research projects, particularly in ways that might lead to further development with external support in the future. To these ends, the scheme offers three tiers of funding, with the largest set at £50,000; it also offers the possibility of discretional in kind support such as technical expertise and infrastructure provision.

Experience and confidence in digital research methods are not prerequisites, and it is hoped that the call will attract researchers who are curious about how digital approaches might be taken in their work, as well as more digitally-oriented colleagues.

Further details of the scheme can be found on the DiSc Research Development Grant page, and, we would be very pleased if you were able to share news of this scheme with our research colleagues.

In order to more fully introduce the scheme and answer any questions that interested parties may have, we will hold introductory sessions online (14:00-15:00, 19 April, and 12:00-13:00, 25 April). In order to be invited to these sessions, please send an email digitalscholarship@humanities.ox.ac.uk, including the date of the session you would like to attend.

We hope that this call proves a welcome opportunity, and look forward to answering any enquiries about it.
