Digital Scholarship @ Oxford are recruiting for a Research Software Engineer - Data and Text
Are you interested in helping to take Oxford’s digital research to the next level? Are you an expert in textual data analysis and/or digital editing? The Digital Scholarship @ Oxford initiative needs you. An opening is available to join a growing group of Research Software Engineers (RSEs) based at the University. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for software looking to use their skills to make an impact on research projects across the whole of the University of Oxford. You will work directly with key stakeholders, both within Oxford and beyond, to deliver technical solutions to research problems in the fields of textual editing and language processing. You will also work on documentation, training, and the publication of results, including the authoring of relevant research articles. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a large University Strategic Research Fund investment to support the development of digital scholarship activities throughout the university by embedding software best practices in research. You’ll also be joining a friendly team, committed to supporting and developing your skills and career progression.
