Celebration of Sustainable Digital Scholarship @ Oxford

Join us on Wednesday 27 April to celebrate one year of Sustainable Digital Scholarship @ Oxford.

Based in Digital Scholarship @ Oxford, the Sustainable Digital Scholarship (SDS) service was created to help researchers at the University of Oxford safeguard the digital legacy of their research, by both providing guidance on digital sustainability and by offering a long-term solution for the storage, publication, and preservation of research data through the service's SDS platform - an online, open-access repository.

There has been an extraordinary response to the service in its first year and it has expanded rapidly from supporting researchers based within the Humanities Division to offering support more widely to researchers and projects across the University, improving Oxford’s capacity to share the full breadth of its unparalleled digital collections and ensuring the work of its world-leading researchers remains accessible for decades to come.

Starting with refreshments at 3.30pm, this special anniversary event is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the Sustainable Digital Scholarship (SDS) service and Digital Scholarship @ Oxford, and will also provide the opportunity to hear from and network with academic colleagues working in this area.
