Are you interested in text and data mining but don’t know where to start? Join us at an introductory event led by Dr Megan Gooch who will show you how to use the HathiTrust Research Centre to extract data and use some of the tools in the Research Centre.
By the end of this session you’ll know what the HathiTrust Research Centre is and some of the ways you can use it for text and data mining.
Session Requirements
The session is open to complete beginners to text and data mining.
Please bring a laptop so you can access the HathiTrust Research Centre and experiment during the session.
Speaker Biography
Megan Gooch is the Head of the Centre for Digital Scholarship at the Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford. She has worked in museum and heritage roles as a curator and producer. Her library work and research focuses on research data management, digitisation, digital skills and AI.
